For the first time in Spring, Rosedale Farm will open its garden for visitors to explore and discover the 120 acres of countryside in Orange. After an 8 year renovation, Rosedale opens its gates allowing guests to explore the extended 10 acre house garden filled with 50 year old poplar trees, apple and willow trees, perennial and hedged gardens, the one acre abundant vegetable garden, the pool and Orangery along with further paddocks to explore around the property.
Visitors will be able to wander the property and meet the myriad of animals, including Brave and Ebony the shire horses, Sir Camelot; the 3 year old camel, Porky the pig and Stewart the sheep (the most unlikely best friends), the poultry houses filled with chickens, peacocks, pigeons, geese and doves, plus the ostriches who reside in the front paddock.
There will be entrainment and local producers on hand to create a market like event for guests to choose a spot in the garden and enjoy a lovely day at Rosedale Farm.
Please note children will require tickets and no pets will be allowed.
